Description:

This Deluxe Street Legal* Club Car DS light kit features all the components necessary to provide your cart with headlights, tail lights, turn signals, 4-Way flashers, and brake lights. Our kits feature a mechanical brake switch (instead of a brake pressure pad) for a professional and reliable installation. This light kit features thick injection molded plastic bezels,bright LED headlights with LED marker lights, and LED tail lights. LED lights use 1/3 of the energy needed for halogen bulbs making them great for electric carts! If you are replacing an existing light kit, please check dimensions before ordering, as some DS carts had larger headlight assemblies installed. Theheadlight assemblies in this kit will not be compatible with the larger “OEM” style headlights due to the size of the opening.

Club Car DS Light Kit Installation Overview (Street-Legal Kit):

When it comes to installing our street-legal light kit for the Club Car DS, our instructions will walk you through each step of the process. However, you may have questions about what installation will require you to do before you make a purchase. This overview is designed to answer some of those questions- let’s breakdown some of the major steps of getting our light kit on your cart.

• First, it is important to note that you will be required to cut into your golf cart’s body cowl to place and attach our headlights and taillights. With our provided templates and a steady hand you should be able to complete this process with relative ease.

• Second, you will need to route the wiring harness throughout the body of your cart and up to all the necessary connection points. The attachment points are as follows: headlights, taillights, turn signal assembly, brake kit assembly, horn, battery connection, and push/pull switch. Take a look at the diagram below for an overview of where those are located on your golf cart.

• You will also have to attach the brake switch to your golf cart for the activation of the brake lights. Our street-legal light kits use a mechanical brake switch for reliable and consistent performance.

• The turn signal will be mounted on the steering column of your golf cart. Please note, the end of the turn signal arm has the button for the activation of the horn.

• Lastly, you will need to cut a small hole in your dash panel for the placement and installation of the push/pull switch.
